Printing Recommendations
To achieve optimal printing results, please refer to the following parameter settings:
✦ Nozzle Temperature: 240 ‒ 260 °C
✦ Heated Bed Temperature: 60 ‒ 80 °C (Recommended for use with PVP glue or a PEI print surface)
✦ Print Speed: 30 ‒ 60 mm/s
✦ Cooling Fan: Recommended to be turned off or set to a low speed (0-25%) to ensure optimal layer adhesion.
✦ Recommended Nozzle: It is advisable to use a hardened steel nozzle or a more wearresistant alternative to prevent abrasion that Nylon can cause on standard brass nozzles.
Notes
1. Thorough Material Drying: Nylon is extremely hygroscopic, and proper drying is critical for successful printing. Moisture in the filament will lead to print failure and reduced part strength. It is strongly recommended to dry the filament at 70‒80°C for 68 hours before each use and to print from a filament drying box.
2. Printing Environment: For best results, using a 3D printer with an enclosed chamber is recommended to maintain a stable ambient temperature and reduce the risk of warping.
3. Storage Method: When not in use, the filament must be stored in a dedicated vacuumsealed bag or a humidity-controlled container with a sufficient amount of desiccant to ensure the relative humidity of the storage environment remains below 20% RH.
